Windows Vista does not find any Updates - that s can be'

For security reasons you should update your PC regularly. Windows Vista, however, there are no Updates, you have made possibly the wrong settings. We will tell you in this practice tip, what you can do about it.

Vista: Windows finds no Updates – what is it?

  • In order for your System, the appropriate Updates, you should first have the Service Pack 2 install and check for Updates again.
  • Also, make sure that you have set the correct time and the correct date.
  • Basically, you should be in the "control panel" > "Windows Update" > "change settings", check whether all the hooks are set.
  • In addition, it must be set to install under "critical Updates" and set it to "Updates automatically (recommended)".
  • Still no Updates found, you can try the PC using the system restore reset.
  • Alternatively, you can also get the Updates from the Microsoft page to manually install.
