System restore in Windows 7 to perform
- Click on the Start Button.
- Enter below in the search bar "system restore" and select the appropriate search result.
- In the window that now opens, you can either leave the selection to the last restore point or choose a different restore point.
- You go on the Option to select "Another restore point" and you will see all points in time and events, to which you can restore the System (see image). Select an item and click on "Next".
- Then, you can choose, theoretically, between different partitions of the hard disk. Usually is shown here, however, only one Partition, so no further configuration is needed.
- Finally, click on "finish", Windows begins with the work. The system restore is about prepared for a Minute, and then starts the Computer will automatically restart. Overall, the whole process can take, depending on the Computer up to ten minutes.
