On Windows, it is possible that you can hide a whole drive and the data stored on it. To do this, you need to remove only one letter.

So you make invisible drives and data

  1. Click "Start" and select the "control panel". Then select "System and security".
  2. Click on the Option "manage". There you will find the entry "computer management".
  3. On the left side you will find the item "data storage". From this point, the item "disk management"is displayed.
  4. Now all the drives are listed. Click with a right click on the drive that you want to hide. In the context menu, select "drive letter and paths...".
  5. Click the Remove button. The drive letter disappears and with it the drive.
  6. In order to make the drive visible again, simply select it again by right-clicking and give him by "Add" a drive letter.
