Instructions: to renew your Elster-certificate
With magpie, you can submit your tax declarations and advance returns. However, you need part a certificate. How you can extend after the expiration, we will show you here:
- Log in with your old certificate and PIN in the Elster Portal a.
- You will then receive a notice that your certificate is expired. Read this note and then click on the "certificate renew".
- In the next step, you need to upload the old certificate again and enter your PIN. In addition, you must designate the new certificate. With a click on "Extended certificate save" will download the new certificate.
- You will be redirected to the Login page. Enter the new certificate and PIN to login again and activate the certificate.
- In the customer area you will find an Overview of the new certificate. Make sure that this is specified in the "account" correctly. This is the case, has been extended your certificate successfully.
- Your old certificate, you should now delete from your PC, so there is no confusion.
