So you get a new Elster-certificate
If you have lost your Elster certificate, or deleted, it's no longer recoverable. You need to apply for a new certificate. For this purpose, but some preparatory work is required:
- Call the public area of the Elster online.de on.
- First, you need to delete your old account. To do this, go in the menu to the left to "delete account".
- On the following page, enter your short name and your E-Mail address and click "Next". Then you will be asked to answer your security question, you enter and again to confirm.
