Adobe Reader: how to disable the JavaScript

  1. Open the Adobe Reader, and then the command "edit" > "preferences" (Shortcut Ctrl+K)
  2. Then select on the left the category of "JavaScript" and turn off the Option "Acrobat JavaScript enable".
  3. Then, you must confirm the Change with "OK".
  4. If a PDF document does not work in the future, you need to enable the script to function again briefly.
