OS X Mavericks: allow access using Apple Remote Desktop allow

Under OS X Mavericks, you can enable the permissions for Apple Remote Desktop. To access multiple Mac computers in your network, and manage tasks in parallel on multiple platforms. How to allow access with Apple Remote Desktop, you will learn in our Guide.

Apple Remote Desktop under Mavericks activate

With Apple Remote Desktop you can manage multiple Macs in your network. To your Mac to access this Software, you must do the following:
  1. Run the system preferences in your Dock.
  2. Here you select "free gifts", and then press on the left side on "Remote management" (see image). You can also set a tick in the appropriate box.
  3. If the access to Apple Remote Desktop for all users of your Macs should be allowed in your network, you must enable the dot next to "All users" (see image). If only selected users should have access to the Remote Software, check the option "Only these users" and then add it by clicking on the Plus Symbol of the desired user.
  4. Under "options" to determine which functions should be enabled for remote users. Here you can activate functions such as "generate reports", "Watch" or "send text messages".
  5. Under "computer settings" you specify information for your Mac and can set the VNC Viewer password.
