In this practice tip, you will learn how to paste on Mac with Textedit the same formatting. Similar to Windows Office Textedit comes on your Mac via a built-in Option that allows you to apply font size, Font and color directly.

To paste the same formatting in Textedit on Mac

You only [CMD] + [V], press the Textedit does not take the formatting. The next section shows you how to insert copied content in the same formatting, so you don't have to adjust the Text manually each Time.

1. The copied Text is in the clipboard, open the Textedit document, and then click on "edit" in the menu bar.
2. Select "paste and match style".
3. The Text appears in the same formatting.
