Using Disk utility you can check the volume of your hard disk. You will find detailed information about the available and used memory.
  1. Type in the Spotlight search in the upper right-hand edge of the keyword "disk utility" and then select the first hit. The Tool will find you, alternatively, in the folder "utilities".
  2. On the left side of your hard disks will be shown. Here you can select the desired volume.
