On the Synology DiskStation, log in - how it works
- First of all, you need the IP address of your Synology DiskStation. If you don't know this, you can in to your Router and see what IP the NAS. Less of a hassle it is, the NAS over find.synology.com looking to let. Click here for the corresponding entry in "Connect", once the search is complete.
- Now you will be directed to the Login page of your DiskStation. Enter your user name and password and press "Login".
- If you don't know the password, contact the Person who set up this DiskStation. If the DiskStation belongs to you and you have forgotten the password, don't worry. In the next practical tip we will show you what a forgotten password can do.
