Synology Cloud Station Backup works's
- First download the Tool Cloud Station Backup , download and install it.
- You then open on your Windows PC for the Tool "Synology Cloud Station Backup" to start the setup wizard.
- Continue with a click on the "Next" Button, and then enter the name of your PC, the IP address, the quick connect ID, as well as the user name and the corresponding password to your Synology Account.
- In the next step, select the location on your PC where the Backup is to be stored.
- Then select the folder from your NAS that you want to back up.
- With a click on "Next" and "Finish" the wizard closes and the first Backup is created.
- Tip: you can set in the main menu of the tool, and a schedule of when the automatic Backup is to be created. To do this, click on "settings" > "backup withholding" and enter under "data protection rules," the respective data.
