Raspberry Pi: System-language change - how to

Have you bought a Raspberry Pi, you should change one of the first actions the System language from English to German. We will show you how to configure your Raspberry Pi accordingly.

System-language of the Raspberry Pi to change

Note: if you Have the Raspberry Pi is still not set up, you should it in operation.
  1. Open the Terminal and enter the command "sudo raspi-config".
  2. You navigate with the arrow keys to "Set locale" and select the Option.
  3. Now a long list of languages is displayed. Recommended the language "de_DE is.UTF-8 UTF-8".
  4. Press to select the language on the spacebar. Then, a star icon appears.
  5. You go in the list, still a piece down. Disable the English language on the spacebar.
  6. Finally, press on the tab key and confirm with "OK".
  7. Select again to confirm the German language, so that it will be changed by the Raspberry Pi.
