No picture in Windows Movie Maker how to fix the error
In principle, the error can occur when you work with different file formats and versions of the Windows Movie Maker. However, there is a solution: format factory.
- Download the free program format factory from our downloads area and install it on your PC.
- You load your source file into the program and convert them to a MKV file.
- Wait until the conversion process is completed.
- Then open the target directory and find the converted MKV file.
- You can open this with Windows Movie Maker. The picture and sound should now be available. Where appropriate, you must first have the necessary Codec to install.
- The MKV file does not work, try changing it alternatively with a conversion to AVI or WMV Format.
