Wi-Fi setup on Windows 7

We will show how to set up the Wi-Fi of a Router under Windows 7. With our instructions it will work in few steps.

Wi-Fi in Windows 7 to connect

  1. Right-click in the taskbar on the network icon.
  2. The wireless networks in your area will be displayed directly.
  3. Click on the device name of your router and select "Connect".
  4. You will then be prompted for the network security key to enter.
  5. Confirm via "Ok". The connection is then made.

Setting up a wireless network manually

  1. Click with the right mouse button on the network icon in the task bar.
  2. Select "network and sharing center open".
  3. Click manage on the left click "wireless network, and then click "Add".
  4. In the new window with the name "Manually connect to a wireless network" select "network profile manually".
  5. Then enter the network name, security and encryption type and security key. This information can be found in your Router configuration. Set if necessary, start a check mark in the "This connection automatically and click "Next".
  6. The network is now added. You can see it in the "manage wireless networks"screen.
  7. If you want to establish the new network in the list, above, is trying to first connect it to restore.
