The Windows character table gives you an Overview of the entire character set that can represent a Font. In addition, you can copy it in your document. For example, you select special characters using the character table.

In Windows 7 you can find the table of characters in two different ways:
Click "Start," "All programs," "accessories," "system tools", "character table".
Alternatively, you can type "charmap" in the search box in the start menu.
