iPhone calendar with Outlook.com connect
To your iPhone-calendar-to display data in your Windows 8 calendar, you must have your iPhone with Outlook.com account to sync. This is also required for the use of Windows 8. Your calendar entries in the Windows 8 App will automatically with your Outlook.com calendar sync.
- Open the settings of your iPhone. There, select the "Mail, contacts, calendars".
- You click on the "add Account" and then "Microsoft Exchange". In the opening form, you must provide the following information:
- In the field "Mail" type in your Outlook.com address, you to your Windows 8 PC logged in. Then, you need to specify the password, and can add an individual description of the account.
- After clicking on "More" you need to provide information to the Server. The Outlook.com server address is "s.outlook.com" as a user name and password, enter again your e-Mail address and the above password. The "Domain" field can be left empty.
- Now you have to do is select the Apps you want to sync with the new account. Make sure that the entry "calendar" is turned on.
- Done! Your Outlook.com account is now synced with your iPhone. If you now open the calendar App in Windows 8, you'll also see entries on your iPhone. Since the synchronization interval is different, will appear with the new dates, however, not immediately.
