QR Codes are read on a Windows Computer
- Download the free program "CodeTwo QR Code Desktop Reader" on the side of the vendor.
- Run the file and follow the installation instructions. After Installation the program starts automatically.
- You open the E-Mail or the Website with the QR-Code, switch back to the newly installed program and click on the Button "From Screen". No QR Code is available to you now, you can use to Test the Code on the Screenshot.
- The program is minimized then the screen will turn slightly grayish. You can now drag with the left mouse button a box around the QR Code, and then release it.
- The program opens and reads the QR Code. The decrypted Text is then displayed under the Code (see image).
- The Button "From File" you can also import a saved image file into the program, if you have the QR Code as an image on your Computer.
