The Windows Balloon Tip

To disable the Balloon Tips, you need to change two entries in the Registry:
- Open "Run" with the key combination [Win] + [R]
- Type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) in the "Open"area. The registry Editor will open.
- Navigate to "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurentVersion\Explorer\Advanced"
- Click the "enable balloontip"key twice and change the value to "0".
- Click on the "show infotip"key twice and change this value to "0". The speech bubble is disabled from the next computer start-up.
Balloon Tips in the Registry
To enable Balloon Tips, change the values back to "1". In the Registry, you can also find many more use the change settings, for example the Windows key or Caps Lock disable, or the number block at system startup box.
