You have installed an Anti-virus Software on your Computer, it will disable the Windows Defender automatically. This is also generally good, so the two programs get in the way.
- You want the Defender to, nevertheless, enable, open the control panel, under the category "System and security" in the "maintenance center". Click here next to the Windows Defender on the Button "activate Now".
- This does not work, locate the top right of the control panel to the "Defender" and open the Windows Defender. Via the Button "start Now" select the program.

Have not worked the above steps, you must enable the service from the Windows Defender for the time being. Then, perform again the above instructions.
- Simultaneously press the keys [Windows] and [R], so that the command "Run" will open.
- You are here "services.msc" and confirm with "OK". Then, all of the services open.
- Scroll down and locate the service "Windows Defender".
- Then click with the right mouse button on the service and select "properties".
- At the bottom left you choose the Button "Start" and change the "startup type" to "automatic".
- Close the window with the "OK" Button and restart Windows finally new.
