Cinema 4D: objects fade in and fade out
- Start Cinema 4D and open the file, in the various objects to be hidden.
- In the catalog you will find behind each of your objects each one larger and two smaller gray dots (see the Screenshot). The gray color of the two smaller points means that the visibility is not defined. If you click on the upper gray point for your particular object will change color to green. So you have defined the selected object as visible.
- If you want to hide the object now, then you need to click again on the green dot. The color changes from green to red and the object will be hidden in the Editor (see Screenshot: car rim was hidden).
- While the upper grey point is for the work of the editor in charge is, the lower grey point behind your object for the internal Renderer of Cinema 4D responsible. Also here are the colors each have the same function as for the Editor.
- In the Screenshot example shown, the car rim is in the processing editor is hidden according to the color red and is displayed in the Renderer, ultimately, by the lower green dot yet.
- Alternatively, you can select your object and below the catalogue under the BasicTap individually the visibility for your Editor, or your Renderer setting. This allows you to control the visibility of the object for the two modes independently and to manage.
