- Open the "settings" and choose the category"".
- Under "Formatting" you can find then choose "PS Vita System restore".
- With "restore" to reset your PS Vita to factory settings. Note, however, that you will lose all the data and settings of your console.

PS Vita: recovery via the Recovery menu
You need to restore your PS Vita again without knowing the password, it works only via the Recovery menu.
- A switch on the PS Vita and hold the Power button until the PS Vita is turned completely off.
- Then, hold the PS button, the R button and the Power button pressed until the PS Vita launches again.
- Here you can select in the Recovery menu the fourth item on "PS Vita System restore".
- With "restore" to reset the device finally to the factory settings.
