Thunderbird: delete folder is not
The error occurs because the recycle bin only individual messages and no folders will be accepted. The trash you can handle however just.
- Click above in the menu bar on the category "tools" and select the "account settings". The bar is hidden, tap first on the "Alt".
- Now select on the left under the desired Mail account in the category "Server settings".
- Here you will find again the category "Server settings". Here you can activate the Option "remove" under "When I Delete a message".
- Click on the "OK" Button, your settings will be saved.
- Now you can delete the folder easily and permanently. The trash is simply bypassed.
- Follow the steps again and uncheck the Option to "remove Immediately", so that the trash will be re-enabled.
