- For this, you switch Windows 8 to Desktop view and press the key combination [Windows]+[R]. In Windows 7, open the search box from the start menu.
- Type "regedit", press Enter, and confirm the question of user account control with "Yes".
- Navigate to the key "HKEY_CUR RENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main". If the last key of which do not yet exist, create it first with the command "edit | New | key".
