- Open Microsoft Visio and click in the middle on "categories".
- Then, select "design" and then "electrical-General".
- With a click on "Create" to open the character sheet. Now you can start to draw a schematic.

Circuit diagrams with Microsoft Visio you have to note
- The various components that you can drag from the left on the drawing page and position it.
- With the key combination [CTRL]+[3] open the "connector". So you can connect the individual components to each other.
- The schematic can be later as a Visio drawing or PDF, or in the most popular image formats, such as JPEG or PNG, save. In addition, it is possible for the switching plan as an AutoCADdrawing to save.
