Search Helper Extension removal in Firefox
The Add-on you can uninstall by changing to the directory of the Add-ons:
- You do this on your Explorer in the "Program Files" or "programs".
- There, you will see "Microsoft" in the "Search Enhancement Pack". Navigate to "Search Helper" and delete the file "Firefox extension".
- If you can't find in the Explorer the Search Helper, you search in the Local disk for the file "Firefox extension".
- Depending on your operating system, you can also use the Windows search. In the case of Windows 7, click your Windows Start Icon and type "Firefox extension". On the found file, click right-click and choose "open file path" (in Windows 8, it says "open location").
- Make sure that the file is located in the so-called "Search Helper" and it is the file you are looking for. You can delete the file.
