VirtualBox: Second hard disk to add - so it goes

If you use Oracle's Virtualbox and your hard disk space is not sufficient, you can add a second hard drive. We show you in our step-by-step instructions on how to do this exactly.

Second hard drive set up – you need to do

  1. Create first a new Virtual machine in Oracle's Virtualbox.
  2. Highlight your virtual machine and select Change the top of Button"".
  3. On the left, click the menu "mass storage". Here you can see a listing of all the memory of your virtual machine.
  4. To add a new disk, click the green "+" with the small hard drive.
  5. Now you need to set it up and name it. Is need to set up the hard drive ready for you to initialize it.
  6. After that, the hard drive needs to be formatted. Click in the "computer management", right-click the new disk and select "Format".
