"No Cast-receiver" - you can do

If you use the Cast Extension, or the menu item "Stream" in Chrome, clicking in the image shown error message "No Cast receiver found" appears, you should first follow the instructions in this practice tip to follow. If the listed solutions (Chromecast reset; make sure that the PC and Stick in the same network, etc.) will not work, you can try the following Trick:
  • You open in Chrome, a new Tab and type in the address bar: chrome://flags/#load-media-router-component-extension
  • In order to open the "experimental" options of Chrome.

  • Close and restart Chrome and check that your Chromecast and now is found.
  • If Yes, you can change the media router setting back to "default settings".
