WD My Cloud safe – the encryption works
- A special Software to Encrypt your WD My Cloud, you don't need.
- Because your data are on the Server and, above all, safe.
- The WD My Cloud has its own encryption on Board, so you don't have to make them yourself.
- In the setup, you specify the user name and password. With this data, you can then access the Cloud.
- Access by Strangers is therefore excluded. You can also set up additional security measures in the settings of the My Cloud.
- Here other users can add or the Name of the My Cloud to modify.
- Conclusion: The data are on your personal My Cloud as safe as on any other Server.
