Hotmail requires a special level of security
You use Windows 8, so your "Hotmail"address in the rule with your Windows account will be the same and you use just a password. Since you can link your Windows Account with other Apps, such as "Skype", it should be this password very secure. As you are such a password, you can here read.
A new Hotmail password
The easiest way to change your password from any device via the Browser. Take the website on. The image gallery illustrates the next steps.
- Log in with your existing data.
- At the top right of the screen you will now find the name of your account. Click on this and in the following Dialog, then click "account settings".
- A new window will open. Here you can select on the left side of the screen, the sub-item "password".
- Here you can enter your existing and new password twice. Before you press "Save", you can select whether you want to be reminded of safety to change the password every 72 days. A click on the "Save" completes the process.
- Note: you Are logged in with the "Hotmail"account in Windows 8, you must also register here now with the new password.
