Gimp: the scissors, and the Option "smooth edges" activate
- Open the photo to be processed in the Gimp. To do this, go to "file" > "Open". From there you can select the photo and click again on "Open".
- In the Toolbox, select the scissors. If you do not see the tool box, click in the Gimp menu bar box to "Windows" > "tool".
- In the "tool settings" put a check mark in the Option "smooth edges". The tool settings should not be displayed, then click on "Windows" > "Dockable dialogs" > "tool settings".
- You avoid the smoothing of edges with the selected tool. Then click in the selection.
- In the menu bar, click then on "selection". On "Zoom in" to expand and flatten the selection to the specified Pixel.
- By "selection" > "Hide" will be made the selection on the specified Pixel boundaries blurred and blends so seamless in front of a new Background.
