Photoshop: eye color change – how to

In this tutorial we will show you how you can change in Photoshop the eye color of a Person.

Eye color in Photoshop change

This manual works with all current versions of Photoshop like Photoshop CS6.
  1. First, open the image you want to edit in Photoshop.
  2. Click on the right bottom of the screen to "create a New layer".
  3. Select the newly created layer and select the Lasso tool. You draw a circle around one of the pupils. A rough enough outline, the selection does not have to be exact.
  4. Click on the paint bucket tool and choose the desired eye colour on the Palette. Click with the paint bucket tool in the previously created selection.
  5. Press the key combination [CTRL] + [D] to deselect it. Click "levels" to "Normal" and select "overlay". Adjust the opacity, then, according to your wishes.
  6. Now select the eraser tool and put the Cursor to the size of about a quarter of the selected pupil. Carefully remove the protruding edges at the edge of the pupil.
  7. Alternatively, you can mark the pupil with the magnetic Lasso tool, soft selection, edge select, and using the sliders under "color balance" of the color change.
  8. Repeat the steps for the second eye.
