You want to arrange images, texts and objects down to the last centimeter, in a Word, you should leave the show guides. We will show you how to enable this.

In PowerPoint, click with the right mouse button on a free area, you can find the settings for "Grid and guides". In a Word, these functions are, unfortunately, relatively minimalist Form.
  1. Open Word and switch to the tab "view". In older versions of Office, select "Format".
  2. Under the category "Display" you will find the option "grid lines".
  3. You enable this Option, set the lines on the document and you can position objects exactly.
  4. With the Option "ruler" - you can also use a kind of auxiliary line.
  5. Further support for the alignment of objects you will find in the category "layout". Click in the Arrange group to Align and select the "grid settings".
