Excel Solver – behind the Add-On
- Thanks to this Add-On mathematical problems can be in Excel, quite easy to solve.
- It is calculated in the so – called target cell, the optimum value automatically.
- You only need to define the limits and characteristics, and the Solver solves for this task.
- This allows you to calculate, for example, the company's revenue, if the profit is the target cell, and the income and expenditure are set as limit values or characteristics.
- You have set up the Solver, you can modify the values to detect the difference directly.
- To use the Solver, open the "settings" of Excel and select "Add-Ins".
- Then select "Manage" > "Excel Add-Ins" > "Go to". You will see a list of available Add-Ins.
- Select the check box for "Solver" and click "OK".
