Excel: using a formula the number of different values count
You need a special formula to the number of different values in a range in Excel to include:
- Click on a cell in your Excel-file in which you want the result placed.
- At the top of the bar, go to "fx" and enter the formula "=SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(D5:E13;D5:E13)>0;1))" without the quotes and press [Enter].
- The data within the formula you can customize to suit your document. So "D5" replacing the first cell of your selection, and "E13", with the last one.
