So, you calculate with Excel the age
In our example, we assume a smaller company that has ten employees.
- Enter in an Excel table, first of all, the names of your employees in one column and the birth date in the following column.
- In our example, we have started in the seventh row, the employee names are in column [C] entered, and the associated date of birth in column [D].
- Now we go back to the seventh row to the column [E], so the series with the first employee name.
- There, paste the following formula: =DATEDIF(E7, TODAY (), 'Y')
- Important is only the first part is actually in the clip, where the respective column and the respective line which is to be calculated is. In our example, the cell [7]. You have selected a different column and/or a different number, you must modify this part of the formula accordingly.
- After you have entered the formula, go to the small black square at the lower right edge of the cell border and drag the formula down to the last employee down.
- Now you are always up-to-date in terms of the age of their employees.
