Date convert in the calendar week in which it works with Excel
To a specific date quickly, the corresponding week to find out, there are in the spreadsheet Excel , the practical function of the "calendar week".
- First, enter the appropriate date in a cell. In our example, it is cell C4.
- Then click on an empty cell and carry the function "=calendar week(C4;21)".
- The first Parameter of the function specifies the cell in which the date. The second Parameter stands for the start of the calendar week. Enter an "11", starts the calendar week on a Monday. With the Numbers 12 to 17, the calendar week starts from Tuesday to Sunday.
- Note: In Europe, the ISO 8601 is used. The first calendar will be awarded a week in the year for the week where the first Thursday of the year. Select as a Parameter, the 21, you are on the safe side.
