To create a flow chart using Visio, you must do the following:
- Start Visio, and then click on the tab "categories".
- Then, select the "flow chart" and then "standard flow chart".
- Finally, click on "Create".

Tips for a flow diagram with Microsoft Visio
When you Create flow Visio diagrams with Microsoft, you should be aware of the following things.
- Each flow diagram has exactly one "Start" and "end".
- A flow chart should flow, if possible, always from the top to the bottom.
- Processes are always drawn with a rectangle and decisions with a diamond.
- Decisions should have at least two outputs.
- Each of the Shapes you can drag from the left on your character sheet.
