Duplicates in Excel delete
To find duplications and delete them, there is a helpful button in your Excel program:
- First of all, check whether all the text contents of your Excel table have the same formatting. That is because the same Font size and same font style, are the prerequisites to ensure that Excel recognizes duplicates.
- Now, highlight the columns from which you want to allow the duplicates to filter out and click in the menu bar, then click the Button "data".
- Here, you can press the button "remove duplicates". There is a window in which you are informed that duplicates are removed from the highlighted area opens now.
- Click "OK". Excel gives you, then, whether and how many duplicates were found and removed and how many unique values remain.
