In Open Office Impress you can turn on an automatic slide transition, to time your presentations perfectly. We will tell you how to do it.

Automatic slide transition in Open Office Impress

In just a few steps you can set in Impress, the automatic slide transition after a certain number of seconds. A more detailed description with Screenshots can be found in the subsequent image gallery.
  1. Click in the menu of the Impress "slide show".
  2. Select "slide transition...". On the right-hand Screen, choose the menu "slide transition"opens.
  3. From here you select in the field "Next slide", the Option "Automatically after".
  4. Specify after how many seconds the next slide automatically should be called.
  5. This setting allows you to apply one-click "all slides" or for all the slides individually activate and so individual times can be set.
  6. A Problem is, unfortunately, the automatic slide transition in Impress: Despite the timer, you can jump with a mouse click to the next slide, you can navigate back to a slide with a Timer. Use this function Wisely.
