OS X Mavericks: the Protected files, delete

Under OS X Mavericks, you can remove protected objects with a small Trick. In our practice tip, you will learn how to do this.

Guns remove files in Mavericks

First, you need to remove the protection of the objects. You can then move the object as usual in your recycle bin and delete:
  1. Click on the object and choose in the Apple system tray "and then" information bar"".
  2. Remove the heading "General", set the checkmark in the box next to "Protected" to disable the protection of the object. In some cases, you can make the only as an Administrator. To do this, click the lock icon and then enter your Administrator name and password.
  3. Then, you close the window "information" and push the file as usual via Drag & Drop into the trash.
  4. Finally, click with the right mouse button on your recycle bin and select "empty trash". The protected object is deleted successfully.
