Obsolete Backups in iTunes, delete
The Fastest way to get the old iPhone and iPad Backups in the iTunes self-delete:
- Click in the upper left-hand corner, click on the rectangular icon, and choose the point "settings".
- You switch to the tab "devices". Here you will find all of your saved Backups. Select the old backup files and then click "delete Backup".
- Caution: Keep the safety at least a Backup of your iDevice on the Computer.

- Mac users open the path "~/Library/Application Support/mobile sync/Backup" in the Finder.
- Pay attention here also to the creation date of the backup, before you delete it. In the worst case you may need.
