Installing a printer in OS X Mavericks
Turn on your printer. Connect the printer to either your Mac or you can use the Wi-Fi function of your printer. The printer should then be on the same network as your Mac.
- You go to the "system settings".
- Click on "printers & scanners".
- Click on the Plus Icon.
- Select your printer from the list and click "Add".
- The device is then configured and is available.
