Your printer on Mavericks release
First, it is important that all Mac computers are connected to the identical network. Then follow our instructions to a printer share set up:
- Open system preferences in your Dock.
- Here you select "free gifts".
- In the next window, put a check mark next to "printer sharing" (See image). On the right you can select under the item "printer" to the desired model.
- Under "user" you can see which users are permitted to use the printer. Basically, the access for each user is activated. This can, however, be denied, by pressing on the Plus icon under the "user" and the desired user to choose who can access your printer.
- If you want to remove a user, select it in the list, and then press on the Minus icon.
