To change the time zone on Mac OS X
The time zone is initially set once and not changed usually. We will show you how you can make Changes if necessary.
- Open the system preferences by clicking the Apple icon in your status, and "system settings".
- Click below on "date & time".
- The middle tab, "time zone" shows you the current selection. If you allow automatic tracking based on your location, you should change the time zone automatically. You have to follow otherwise the instructions.
- Remove you set the checkmark next to "time zone automatically using current location".
- Now tap on the world map on the country you are in, or change below in the selection of the "Next city" to the desired location.
- The time zone and thus the time in the status bar changes immediately. You need nothing more to confirm.
