Free Wi-Fi: Unitymedia-Hotspot use
With the free Hotspot 100 MB surf volume with up to 150 MBit/s are available to you every day. Then you can surf more at a snail's pace with 64 KBit/s. For Unitymedia-customers, however, there is no Limit. For this, we have created a special instructions at the bottom. So you are browsing as a Non-Unitymedia-client:
- On your Smartphone, open the "settings" and go to "Wi-Fi".
- Then you search out the "Unitymedia Public wifi spot", and tap "Connect" (see image).
- Now your Smartphone will log in to the Wi-Fi network a and in the Overview of all Wi-Fi networks appears under the Unitymedia network, the word "Connected".

Before you can surf the web, you need to register. It works on your phone:
- As soon as you are connected to the network, the message "log on to The network". Not POPs up this message after a few seconds, simply open any web page.
- Now the start screen opens by Unitymedia Hotspot. Tap on "access code request".
- You now need to identify with your cell phone number. Via SMS you will receive an access code that you can use to two years of log in. Note: The Code is only valid for one device.
- Unitymedia offers two networks: you can choose, whether you are using WPA or WPA2 want to surf.
- Now you can start surfing, too.
In the Unitymedia Hotspot login
Unitymedia customers: So you can surf without Limits
- Go to the website of Unitymedia and click on "customer center."
- Here you can login, and then select "My products" > "Internet".
- Next, you need to give your Router as a "home spot". The you a means to judge a Hotspot for other Unitymedia customers that are in the vicinity of your Wi-Fi. This is a vital prerequisite to the Premium Features of the Unitymedia Hotspots to use, how quick the Internet.
- In the settings for wifi spot, you specify a password. The user name is your E-Mail address (see image).
- After Saving, you can log in with your user data in all of the public Unitymedia-Hotspots.
