Join Google Meet on your computer without a Google account
To join a Google Meet without a Google account, you must first receive an invitation link from the meeting creator. If you open a link to a Google Meet on your computer, you can easily join the meeting, even if you dont have your own Google account:
- On the homepage of the meeting, a preview of your camera opens and to the right of it various options.
- First enter your name in the field provided.
- Now you can request participation or click " Present " to share your screen upon joining .
- Participants who are already in the meeting can now allow or reject your request.
- If you are granted access to the conference , you will now automatically join the meeting .
 
 Join Google Meet on your smartphone without a Google account
With the Google Meet app it is not possible to join without a Google account, but you can also take part in the conference using your smartphone.
- If you open the link, you will be redirected to the app or if you have no opportunity to participate in the browser, you should not be logged in with a Google account .
- To get around this, open the Google Meet homepage on your smartphone in your browser .
- Now you have to display the website in the desktop view in order to be able to use Google Meet like on the computer.
- Now you have the opportunity to enter the meeting code , which is also provided to you by the meeting creator, and request participation .
- If your request is approved, you can now attend the meeting.
