Data traffic with the Fritzbox record
Basically, anyone can record with the Fritzbox to the data traffic. The analysis of the data is, however, complicated and only for advanced users. You can record the traffic, and the result to a to send experts to evaluate it for you.
- Open the following Linkyou directly to the data recording of the Fritzbox appears.
- Log in here with your password.
- Now you can record as desired various interfaces in your network. You can choose between the upper points of the "Internet," "network interfaces", "wireless", "USB" and "DTrace".
- To start recording, click on the "Start" button next to the desired interface. It is a Download that is not complete until you click "stop" begins now.
- The Download is then terminated and the file can be read.

- Download the free program "Wireshark" to download and install it.
- Select when you install the add-on Software "WinPcap". This is not required.
- Start the program and click top left on "File" and then click "Open".
- Navigate to the location of the Fritzbox file. Select it, and click "Open". The file is loaded into the program and can be read out.
- In the upper third you can see the individual activities recorded in the network. You can choose from too, see you in the middle third of all of the important information about the connection. In the lower third of the Whole thing as a HEX and ASCII Dump is displayed.
