Telecommunications devices connecting to the Fritzbox
You can connect all phones to the Fritzbox, regardless of whether the device is an analog telephone, an ISDN, a mobile phone, VoIP, or a Fax is.
- The Fritzbox has in General both RJ11 Jacks as well as the traditional TAE-Jacks. You need to decide in advance which type you want to use, since you can't use both types at the same time.
- The wired devices connect to the corresponding Sockets. The cordless phones are coupled via a wireless link.
- The exact procedure may differ depending on the Fritzbox a little. All models have a wizard that will help you the devices with the Fritz box can connect.

- The wizard to setup your Fritzbox call, enter in the address bar of your browser "fritz.box" without the quotation marks.
- Then, navigate to the "settings" and select "telephony".

- After you have set up the devices, you can "manage your Own phone numbers provided", for example, each phone with its own phone number. This does not work with analog devices, but, for example, with ISDN and the numbers that are available there.
- Alternatively, you can set a particular device to accept only selected numbers or which phones are allowed to call out.
- Note: If you are creating an IP phone, you need to enter the Fritzbox password, the user name and the name of the Fritzbox or the IP address on the Smartphone also.
In order for your network as well protected, you should regularly check your Fritzbox password change.
