Fritzbox: Wi-Fi setup instructions

You have received a new FritzBox, you should set up your Wi-Fi. We will show you how to do this.

Wi-Fi in the FritzBox setup - how to

Open the user interface of the Fritz box and log in.
Go to the left of the category "Wi-Fi", you will find all the necessary settings.
Enable the Option "WLAN radio network active" and give the network the desired name.
Activate also the Option "Name of the WLAN radio network visible". The Name is not visible, the safety is increased in any way.
Go to the left to the category "wireless channel settings", this is usually already set everything right.
Scroll down a bit, you will find there a graphic with all the routers in your environment. Many Router operating on the same or neighboring channel, can you switch this for a better connection at the top.

So not everyone gets in to your Wi-Fi network, you can connect all your devices once, and then the Option below "Wi-Fi access to known WLAN devices restrict" checkbox.
Tip: at the Top of the menu, you can also activate a timing circuit, as well as access for guests.
