1. Step one: uninstall a program
- Click on the Windows Button (formerly Start), and go to the control panel.
- Out now select "uninstall a program" and search for "Search.us.com" from the program list.
- Double-click on the Tool you start the Uninstallation.

2. Step: Firefox reset
Even if the program file seems to be removed, to open Firefox on startup is still the home "Search.us.com". Even if you set a different home page or a new Tab to open, not get rid of the Malware. So you need to delete, therefore, proceed to the rest of the files from the settings:
- You open in Firefox the "help" menu. Possibly. you need to enable this on the orange Firefox Button.
- Then go to the "Troubleshooting information" and click on the Button "reset Firefox".
- This process can take a few minutes. Then Firefox is set to the factory default state, and the Malware removed. Data, such as timeline, saved passwords etc. remain, however.
